The above statement was made by a German client after coming back from his two week kayaking experience. We are pleased to assist you on your trip. We can instruct you on how to handle the kayak in different situations. Our guides can show you and tell you about places you could not have reached alone. You are also free to go on your own provided you have the skills and experience to navigate and find your way.

A typical traveller to Finland would fly in through Helsinki, Tampere or Turku airports or take the ferry (Viking Line or Silja Line) from Stockholm in Sweden, another ferry from Rostock in Germany or Tallinn in Estonia. Travel by car is also possible combining several ferries. You could cross the Finnish border from Russia in the east or through Lapland from northern Norway or Sweden.

100 years of Kayaks in the Finnish archipelago!

Finland based kayaker Jöns Aschan, started kayak renting and guided tours from summer 2004. Next year Paddlingsfabriken or "Paddlefactory" was registered as a Finland based kayak touring service. We make kayaks, paddles, sell then and organise tours and classes for your personal experience. We can provide all you need for a paddle tour on finnish waters, whether you are a beginner or experienced paddler.

Grytskär - eine Insel zum Paddeln und Üben nach unserem Geschmack

Die Insel Grytskär ist eine neue Attraktion die wir unseren Kunden anbieten können. Dieser Standort bietet unseren paddelnden Kunden nicht nur eine gemütliche Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, sondern ist auch voll ausgerüstet mit Küche, Kaminzimmer und einem separaten Saunagebäude. Es ist ein allseits beliebtes Ziel für Paddelunterricht sowie erholsame Versammlungen im Zusammenhang mit einer Tour des Schärengebietes. Wir können 6 Übernachtungsplätze anbieten sowie genug Platz für 10 Personen um den Esstisch.
