The set of kayaks listed here are designed by Jöns Aschan and Marcus Aschan, built by Jöns at Paddlingsfabriken. We welcome people to book test tours, buying ready made kayaks, paddles built on order or custom designed versions also for self-builds.  Especially the Fragrance range of kayaks in a combination of a tuilik and greenland style paddle are used for our rolling classes. 

After four years of experience with epoxy-fiberglass laminated wooden kayaks we are confident that this construction has strength that exceeds fiberglass hulls in strength, stiffness, lightness and ease of maintenance.

Blade - a fast touring kayak that easily cuts throu wave tops, surfs and tracks well, high stability. (5.500 euro, vat 23%)

 Fragrance - Greenland style low volume kayak built with pine strips in the core. (3.800 euro)

 Fragrance S&G - Greenland style low volume kayak with birch plywood in the core. (2.900 euro). A small scale paper kayak is available as on this video. The file for printing is avalable here.

 Nalike - a touring or expedition kayak with more volume. This core is of fir strips. (1600 euro)

SeaStrip, nicknamed The Needle - is an extreme in narrowness and length for maximum hull speed. (2.200 euro)

We specialise on building custom kayaks for individual needs. The copyright to the kayak models are kept with Paddlingsfabriken and the designer of the kayak. Drawings can be made available for self builds and the agreed charges are by default for one kayak only.

 Also used plastic kayaks manufactured by Prijon and Valley are for sale.
