Guided tours from our tourbook
We speak fluent Swedish, Finnish and English. The guide is always an experienced kayaker with local knowledge. This will make your trip safe and you will learn a lot about kayaking and local habits. A functioning and correct paddling technique will be teached during the tour on request. Successfull learning will also make paddling more enjoyable for future tours. We can make visits to places of historical interest and tell stories and about happeings in the areas we pass, and adjust the tour to the capacity of the participating group.
Paddling classes
Not done kayaking before? No problem! We will always discuss basic handling of the kayak, but theory is different from exercises in practice. Try a rescue on water for example. Most of the training will happen paddling. You will get instructions on paddling in an economical way, turns and twists of the kayak, rescue techinques, maintenance of the kayak, safety considerations and selection of routes.
We think that you can do the roll as well as anybody, after a training session with us. Richard learned the roll in an hour, with some help and advice on what to change to succeed. Richard is doing the roll in this video, to the right and to the left (Mpeg file, size 0,3 MB). Great fun!

Transportation in the archipelago - the kayak to where you
want it.
Transportation on land
We focus on activities in the archipelago nearby the Finnish gulf - the Tammisaari archipelago (Ekenäs Skärgård). So far our capacity for transportation on land is limited. If several kayaks really need transportation on land then give good advance notice to avoid extra cost. Prices are given on request.
Provisioning of the kayaks
In a foreign country you might not know where to find the fresh supplies you want for your tour. It helps to have local assistance so that starting your tour is not delayed by finding the missing spices. You might also want to have everything packed in bags beside your kayak, and ready for loading with your loading preferences.
